Collaborations
TDI’s internal product development focus is in oncology, and we are actively developing collaborations with leading cancer centers to develop Isonostic™ products for cancer applications. We are focused on addressing major unmet diagnostic needs in cancer, where clear impact upon clinical decision-making, patient outcomes improvement, and health economic benefits coincide. Some of TDI's existing collaborations include: the Virginia Prostate Center and the George L. Wright, Jr., Center for Biomedical Proteomics at the Eastern Virginia Medical School.
In cancer collaborations, TDI contributes proteomic research expertise and access to our proprietary technologies for validation of protein biomarker targets at the isoform level. We also contribute our scientific and business expertise in Isonostic™ assay development and commercialization. Our collaboration partners will typically provide patient samples accompanied by blinded pathology workup, patient prognosis and longitudinal outcomes data. Our collaborators also typically contribute clinical and academic expertise to the development program.
