Board of Directors
Jeff Peterson (CEO, Target Discovery) and Luke Schneider (founder and CSO of Target Discovery) are joined on the Board by:
Steven M. Rauscher, CEO , Oscient Pharmaceuticals, has been a Director for TDI since September 2000. After 7 years of service as an outside board of director and President of Genome Therapeutics he assumed the CEO role, morphing GTC into Oscient Pharmaceuticals. Prior to GTC, Mr. Rauscher was most recently CEO of AmericasDoctor, a company formed from the merger of Affiliated Research Centers, Inc. and AmericasDoctor.com. The company provides clinical research and marketing services to the pharmaceutical industry. During his tenure at AmericasDoctor, company revenues grew from $500,000 to more than $56 million, and the company today has nearly 300 employees. Previously, Mr. Rauscher spent over 15 years with Abbott Laboratories serving in a variety of progressive leadership positions, including Vice President for Corporate Licensing; Vice President of Business Development, Abbott International; Vice President of Sales U.S., Pharmaceutical Products; Director of Strategic Planning, Pharmaceutical Products; and General Manager, Abbott West Indies. Mr. Rauscher holds a MBA from University of Chicago.
Clayton A. Struve, CEO, CSS LLC, has been a Director for TDI since September 2000. Mr. Struve is the largest investor in TDI and holds over 12% of TDI’s outstanding shares. Mr. Struve currently serves as Managing Member of CSS LLC, a securities trading broker/dealer based in Chicago, following an extensive career with Swiss Bank and O’Connor & Associates. For Swiss Bank, Mr. Struve served as Global Co-Head of Risk Control, Global Co-Head of Equity Trading, Member of Management Committee and as a Managing Director of Swiss Bank Corporation. He began his professional career at O’Connor & Associates, an option trading broker/dealer, rising through the positions of Head of New Products, Head of Risk Control, Head of Equity Trading, Member of Management Committee and General Partner by the time of O’Connor & Associates acquisition by Swiss Bank in 1994. Mr. Struve serves on the Boards of the Prediction Company and the Clayton A. Struve Foundation, and holds a BS in Management/Finance from MIT.
